Lounging Around

Alumni Hall has always been the home base for alumni when they’re at the University. With the recent completion of a new, 1,300-square-foot alumni lounge, that home just got a lot cozier.

The lounge’s comfortable, “clubby” atmosphere is a great place for casual conversation or just reading by the fireplace in an oversized chair. The lounge also features a self-serve coffee bar, wireless Internet access, a computer workstation with printer, and a number of large, library-style tables.

Available for use during Alumni Hall’s regular business hours (8 to 5, Monday through Friday), the lounge will also be used to host University and Alumni Association events. The lounge is the result of a complete renovation of the Virginia Room, located just off the Jefferson Ballroom (which itself underwent a significant expansion and upgrade in the past year).
