University of Virginia units from the Air Force, Army and Navy Reserve Officers’ Training Corps programs honored prisoners of war and those declared missing in action. Held in the McIntire Amphitheatre on the Sept. 21 national day of remembrance for POWs and MIAs, the ceremony was the culmination of a 24-hour vigil during which cadets marched across the amphitheatre stage in pairs, four cadets per hour.
