From the Publisher: Our Future, Your Home
Alumni Hall has been home to the Alumni Association since 1936. It has welcomed thousands of new graduates, created space for treasured student traditions, and served as a celebratory center for generations of alumni.
But to fully honor the spirit of those who came before—and those who are yet to come—it is time to build a new home. A home that marries the best of the past with our aspirations for the future. A home that serves a worldwide alumni base while recognizing the unique contributions of each visitor.
After four years of planning and design, the Alumni Association is embarking on a once-in-a-generation project: building a new Home for Every Hoo. Positioned on the same parcel of land as the existing Alumni Hall, the new building will weave together timeless Jeffersonian design with contemporary elements, and feature flexible event spaces, outdoor terraces, a library, and café. It will be fully ADA accessible, LEED certified, and offer ample on-site parking. Construction will begin Sept. 1 and conclude in spring 2027.
The result will be a state-of-the-art alumni center where Hoos and Hoos-at-Heart will always belong. We can’t wait to welcome you home.
