Currie, James T.

James T. Currie (Grad ’69, ’75 L/M) retired from the federal government after almost thirty-three years of service. His last job as a fed was as professor of national security studies at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, National Defense University. He started a new job as director, office of federal relations, National Association of State Treasurers.

Dr. Evans says

Evans Jr., Charles H.

Charles H. Evans Jr. (Grad ’69, Med ’69 L/M) and his wife, Nancy, reside in Seattle near their daughter, Heather Evans (Col ’93, Grad ’04 L/M); son-in-law, Chris Baldwin; and grandsons, Miles, 2, and Nash, 6. Dr. Evans retired as professor and chair of human science at Georgetown University on July 1, 2009, after 40 years in biomedical research and teaching, the first 27 as chief of tumor biology at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Evans now plays the piano and sings as a tenor in the Magnolia Chorale and is involved in service activities with the Rotary Club of Magnolia in Seattle.

G. Timothy Hardin (Col ’69 L/M) is a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. The College was organized by real estate practitioners active in various other professional groups who perceived a need for an organization with a selective membership comprised of lawyers recognized for their legal acumen and proven leadership which could speak effectively to issues of real estate law, regulation and practice. Mr. Hardin is vice president of Fidelity National Title Insurance Company in Dallas, where he manages the Dallas operation of its national title services division.

He has been listed in Best Lawyers for more than 10 years. Feld Hyde is a specialty law firm that maintains a sophisticated tax, estate and business practice, representing a broad and diverse client base, including individuals, partnerships, start-ups, family businesses, professional service firms, estates and tax-exempt entities.
