A. Robert Conant (Col ’53 L/M) received Man of the Year honors for his work in Honduras from Murphy and Others, Living Interdependently for Future Endeavors (M.O.,L.I.F.E.), a nonprofit organization in Massachusetts assisting people with disabilities. Since retiring from sales management at Dow Chemical Co., Mr. Conant has helped build BioSand filters to purify water in Honduras, where many people suffer from disease caused by impure drinking water.
