Virginia Magazine offers a truly unique advertising opportunity as it is the only publication that is circulated to all alumni, students, parents of students and faculty of the University of Virginia
Published by the University of Virginia Alumni Association since 1901 (formerly under the name Alumni News), Virginia Magazine is among top most-circulated University magazines per issue in the country.
The quarterly magazine has collected multiple national awards in recent years for both its editorial and design excellence.* Each issue includes original, intriguing feature articles, as well as the following departments: Letters, University Digest, Student Life, Research & Discovery, Sports, Alumni News, President’s Letter, First Person, Short Course, Arts, Retrospect, Class Notes and In Memoriam.
* Including the Silver Medal in the 2009 Circle of Excellence Awards for web-based periodical, 2006 and 2007 Award of Excellence for feature writing, the 2005 Special Merit Award in the alumni magazine overall excellence category, and Silver award in design excellence, from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), a professional organization for alumni relations, communications and development professionals.

To preserve the integrity of the publication we maintain a set content-to-advertising ratio, thus advertising space is finite in each issue. Therefore, requests made on or before this date are not guaranteed space. We strongly recommended making reservations 6-12 months in advance.
